Small refractors often end up rear-heavy because many accessories sit behind the focuser—diagonal, camera, filter wheel, eyepieces, etc. That shifts the center of gravity far behind the mounting point, which makes balancing on mounts or trackers tricky.

The More Blue AU112 is designed to extend the mounting options forward on the telescope tube. By giving you an additional accessory mounting point in front of the scope, it helps in a few ways;
- Forward mass placement: You can mount something like a guide scope, finder, or small counterweight toward the front.
- Moves center of gravity forward: This compensates for the heavy gear at the back.
- Improves declination balance: Especially useful when running imaging trains with cameras and filter wheels.
